THE “RACINES” RANGE
“Our red sandstone “Terres Rouges” soils bring a very distinctive minerality and freshness to our red Sancerre wines”
VINEYARDS’ LOCATION: Crézancy-en-Sancerre and Bué.
SOILS: mostly from our famous “Terres Rouges” but also rocky limestone “Caillottes” soils.
GRAPE VARIETY: Pinot noir.
VINIFICATION: The harvest is de-stemmed and sorted. Extraction is managed during fermentation to obtain balanced tannins and flavours. The majority of the wine is aged in stainless steel vats for almost a year to maintain fresh fruit flavours. The remainder is aged in oak barrels for the same duration to obtain a more rounded and complex wine.
TASTING NOTES*:
Appearance: Bright ruby hue.
Nose: Delicate aromas, notes of red berry fruits combined with spices.

FOOD PAIRING SUGGESTIONS: White meats as well as fish such as tuna or salmon.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: Around 14°C.
